PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Since the Owners wanted to open in mid-summer, it was necessary to design a tight construction schedule beginning in the coldest winter months, with construction kicking off in December. It also required the use of state-of-the-art construction materials to facilitate an accelerated construction timeline.
Pre-engineered and manufactured component walls and trusses were utilized to erect the building in a more streamlined and efficient manner. The exterior is comprised of an R6.6 ZIP board system that eliminates the need to install exterior foam and vapor barriers separately, which are often subject to damage in cold weather.
This was the third Legacy assisted living construction project performed by Consolidated Construction, a testament to the relationship and trust built with the Owner.
